when you register for the 2021 NAP virtual convention.
NAP’s biennial convention is where you come to deepen your knowledge and sharpen your parliamentary skills. We mix business with education and have fun while doing it. This year’s event will be conducted entirely on Zoom, saving you the expense and hassle of traveling.
New to NAP or the convention? Join us from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. (CDT) on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, for the First Timers/New Member Orientation. Learn how to get the most from this event and your membership. The convention opens officially at 1:00 p.m. (CDT), Wednesday, September 8, and will conclude with the Bylaws Forum to prepare you for the proposed amendments that will be presented during the next two days.
Business dominates Thursday and Friday, September 9-10. In addition to updating NAP’s bylaws, qualified members will elect the organization’s board members for 2021-2023. Break up the day by joining us for virtual luncheons celebrating our past presidents (Thursday) and our top associations and units (Friday).
Saturday, September 11, is all about education. Choose from up to 20 educational sessions presented by some of the top parliamentarians in the field. What you can’t attend live you can watch later — all part of your full-convention registration.

Proposed Bylaw Amendments
An important aspect of the biennial convention is the consideration of bylaws amendments by the delegate body. Make sure you come to the virtual convention prepared to vote on the proposed bylaw amendments.
